The Hewlett Packard Codemaster defibrillator can be used for cardiac monitoring (short-termor long-term), elective cardioversion, and pacing (optional). A fully-charged battery provides a minimum of 2.5 hours of continuous monitoring. For unlimited periods of monitoring the unit can be connected to AC power. Standard paddles are anterior/anterior, adult and
pediatric. Adult electrodes slide off to expose pediatric electrodes.
